A bill was introduced in Georgia’s 2019 legislative session that would weaken the state’s Certificate of Need (CON) laws, which protect local, community hospitals. The Save Georgia Healthcare Coalition determined the opposition was ahead with at least 94 votes needed to pass their bill. As the legislation gained momentum, the window of time to move the needle was quickly diminishing.
At the 11th hour, SPM was brought on to develop a strategic plan to shift the narrative and support the lobbying efforts. Within a matter of 10 days, we crafted and executed a fully integrated, screen agnostic media plan and messaging playbook.
